Youth Workshop Series
As part of the Food Theater Project, LightBox is launching its Youth Workshop Series by providing five, month-long workshops in after-school programs for teens in New York’s five boroughs. Students master the basics of the LightBox Approach, and receive hands-on food and nutrition education. LightBox artists then mentor students through the process of writing and performing their own plays about their experiences with food.
LightBox Approach Professional Workshops
Professional workshops in the LightBox Approach are offered periodically in New York City and nationwide, and are open to creative people of all ages and experience levels.
The company also teaches the LightBox Approach at the college level upon invitation.
No workshops are scheduled at this time.
LightBox interns focus on Production, Outreach and Marketing, Administration/Management, or Development, and receive one-on-one mentorship from a carefully selected LightBox member. Learn firsthand about the exciting and demanding work that goes into running a cutting-edge non-profit theater company in New York City.
Interns may enroll in LightBox Approach Professional Workshops at no charge. Internships may be undertaken for school credit.
